Der EFP Research Jaccard Preis wird alle 3 Jahre im Rahmen der EuroPerio verliehen. Er steht allen Mitgliedern der Fachgesellschaften der EFP offen mit dem Ziel, die Forschung in der Parodontologie europaweit zu fördern.
Bewerbungen sind noch bis 30.11.17 möglich.

THE EFP RESEARCH PRIZE IN PERIODONTOLOGY (JACCARD PRIZE)
The EFP Research Prize (Jaccard Prize) was instituted by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) in 1995 with the object of promoting research in Europe. The Prize is awarded once every three years at the EuroPerio Conference. It is open to all members of the Periodontal Societies, which are part of the European Federation of Periodontology.
The research work must not be previously published or presented in any meeting. The manuscripts should be prepared according to the principles presented in „Instructions to Authors“ in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology (JCP), as the best three entries will be published in this Journal.
Candidates should send their manuscripts by email in pdf format to the EFP Co-ordinator, Monica Guinea (monica@efp.org), at least eight months prior to the conference date (that means 30th November of the year previous to EuroPerio).
A panel of 5 adjudicators, consisting of the Editor of J.C.P., two Associate Editors of the same Journal, one member selected by the Executive Committee of the EFP (Chairman of this Session) and one member of the EuroPerio organising Committee, will select 3 manuscripts for the final competition, which will be published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology.
The Organising Committee will inform the three nominees of this prize (first authors who must present the paper) and will invite them to EuroPerio Conference, at least three months prior to the Conference date. Accommodation, travel expenses and registration fees will be paid for the invited persons by the EFP. Each research worker will present his/her work in an oral presentations of 20 minutes duration, followed by a 10 minutes discussion period.
The winner will be selected on the merits of the submitted manuscript, as well as on the oral presentation and subsequent discussion period. The winner will receive a prize of Sfr 10.000, together with a Certificate……
